Exercise Without Knowing It
Everyone knows that you should exercise. But do you really have to “Exercise”?
Not many people know this, but you exercise all day long. I’m not talking about running or jumping, but the normal routine you do everyday.
Going to make coffee, walking to your bosses office, that trip to the car and back. All these movements burn calories. The nice thing about this is that now that you know, you can use that to your advantage.
What if I told you that you could burn up to 36 pounds per year by…
- Taking the stair
- Parking further from the office (less traffic out there anyways, no more door dings.)
- Using the refrigerator that’s furthest from your desk
- Pacing when you’re on the phone
- Bringing in one bag at a time after grocery shopping
Little things you can do to stay more active than you are right now can make a big difference at the end of the year.
